On the western edge of Tucson, the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum contains a natural history museum, zoo, and botanical garden. We had a delightful lunch at the upscale cafe there, then spent the afternoon strolling the grounds. All of the birds, animals, and plants on the property are indigenous to the area.
